Terms of Service

1. About CoffeeRide

CoffeeRide is a platform that connects cyclists for group rides. We provide the tools to discover, create, and join rides — but we are not a ride organizer. Each ride is created and managed by individual users.

CoffeeRide is available as a native app on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and as a web application. These Terms of Service apply to all versions of the app regardless of the platform through which you access it.

2. App Store Platforms

If you download CoffeeRide from the Apple App Store, the following applies: these Terms of Service are an agreement between you and CoffeeRide only, not with Apple Inc. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for CoffeeRide. In the event of any product liability claim, third-party intellectual property infringement claim, or consumer protection matter, Apple is not responsible. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

If you download CoffeeRide from Google Play, Google LLC is similarly not a party to these Terms and bears no responsibility for the app or its content.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use CoffeeRide. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your account with others. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. User Conduct

When using CoffeeRide, you agree not to:

• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Post misleading or false ride information
• Spam the platform with unsolicited content
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

6. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you submit, including ride descriptions, GPX route files, photos, and profile information. By posting content on CoffeeRide, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and store it on the platform for the purpose of providing the service.

7. Ride Safety & Liability

CoffeeRide is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, property damage, or other incidents that occur during rides. By participating in a ride, you acknowledge that:

• Cycling involves inherent risks
• You are responsible for your own safety and equipment
• You must follow all applicable traffic laws and regulations
• You participate in rides entirely at your own risk
• You should carry appropriate insurance for your activities

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep CoffeeRide available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or via email. Continued use of CoffeeRide after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
